Pooja, I am not sure how I found your blog but I'm glad I did! I love your henna designs. I'm not as interested in henna as my daughter is. So I once did mehndi on her hands and the hands of her 3 little friends. Everyone was thrilled! My problem was the cones. I need to learn how to make better cones. :-D

Pooja, thanks for that link. I had seen that hennapage web site before but I didn't have mylar or cellophane at home. What do you make your cones out of? And yes! It would be a treat to see your step-by-step process of making henna cones!!

Hi Pooja,

Found your website through Indira's mahanandi. Your creativity is brilliant and such fine designs...

I had once 'learnt' mehendi but over the years realised it's not just mixing and making the cones but something that comes from within...

Do you form your own designs or follow any book? Hope to see more of the beauties...

Hi
Manisha : If possible I will surely post the whole process of making henna cone by your own , though I think it will need cellophane and mylar. You can get it feom any store I think . Will try to show you sit step by step when I will make it for you only ! : )

Latha : thanks for dropping by here! I never went to any classes to learn this. I just do it as my mind works, and obviously if my cone works too :P . you are true it is something comes from heart. My sisters are even better with this. I leant all these by seeing them only . : ) Its only once after their marriage I started doing it on my own, and I found that I also can do it well.
I don’t follow any particular design book for that, coz it is not possible to follow any design completely. Something you have to make by your own idea and liking too. Just if any design I see anywhere which is attractive enough then I might follow it, otherwise all it is my own ideas : ) . soon going to post some more of henna design which I made recently . Thanks for appreciating my creativity .
